MFP is pleased to announce the launch of the 3rd European Microfinance Award which this year highlights initiatives in Value Chain Finance.
The award of €100,000 from the Luxembourg Ministry of Foreign Affairs – Development Cooperation will be presented on the 30th November 2010 during European Microfinance Week to an institution based in a developing country, active in the financial services sector, judged to be contributing to enhance value chain finance.

Microfinance Actors from the South are invited to apply but they need the support of an e-MFP member (e.g. letter of recommendation). Joint applications from microfinance actors from the South with European partners will be accepted but the award money would go exclusively to the Southern organization.
The closing date for applications is 15 July 2010 and these should be sent to contact@e-mfp.eu. Details are also available on www.e-mfp.eu.
