The Sustainable Microenterprise and Development Program at the Carsey Institute at the University of New Hampshire (formerly the Microenterprise and Development Institute or MDI) is very pleased to announce that we will offer at least eight (8) scholarships to the SMDP-Tanzania 2010, held October 11 – October 23 in Stonetown, Zanzibar, Tanzania through a partnership with The MasterCard Foundation of Toronto, Canada.

We will use the island environment as our classroom, where you will see sustainable development in action. This is an intensive and highly relevant training program for senior management professionals from microfinance institutions, environmental NGOS, enterprise development organizations, government ministries, private donor organizations, religious and faith-based development organizations, and academic institutions.
