During SEEP’s October, 2007 Annual General Meeting, SEEP membership affirmed through a voting process that the development of an effective “Network of Networks” should be SEEP’s highest priority.

To implement this strategy, SEEP will:
• Develop a financial model that allows SEEP to expand the number of national and regional networks it serves and encourages networks to take advantage of SEEP membership
• Further develop a communications infrastructure that encourages a regular flow of information between SEEP’s network members
• Incorporate the members of national and regional networks into Working Groups
• Incorporate network representatives in the governance of SEEP
• Develop formal links with other networks and associations that intersect with the sector
• Expand its expertise in the best practices of networks

Ultimately, SEEP will become the premier global platform for network interaction by engaging all regional and country-level microfinance and microenterprise development networks as proactive members of the SEEP Network.
