The SEEP Network of the Year Award is given to an association that has achieved important success in the area of External Relations in 2009, specifically in forging strategic partnerships with key industry stakeholders for the benefit of their membership.
PMN has achieved fantastic results in establishing important partnerships with the new leadership of the State Bank of Pakistan and Ministry of Finance, with KfW, IFC and DFID for the development of a credit guarantee facility and a commercial refinancing apex organization.

It’s great that SEEP
It’s great that SEEP takes the time to recognize organizations that are making improvements within the microfinance community. It would be interesting to hear more on PMN’s role in creating an environment for accessibility to micro loans and/or credit in Pakistan. What sorts of success stories are out there? Hopefully the people they serve are having as much success now as they were when this award was received in 2009.
