In order to increase the number of MasterCard Management Scholarship applicants from women, the Boulder Institute has requested that WAM International circulate the announcement below. Therefore we are sending this message out as an Addendum to the Spring Newsletter!
We encourage any interested female MFI Managers that fit the qualifications (see below) to apply ASAP!!

The MasterCard Foundation will be awarding partial tuition scholarships to Microfinance Managers to attend the 2010 Boulder MFT program in Turin, Italy from July 19th to August 6th, 2010. These scholarships are for Microfinance Managers with a special emphasis on women microfinance managers.
Applicants need to submit their application, CV, and a letter of recommendation by Wednesday, May 5th (Note the official deadline is April 30th, but the organization has granted a few extra days to submit all the required information).

Wow I think thats wonderful that the MasterCard Foundation awards half of the tuition for scholarships to encourage woman to become microfinance managers. Thats really encouraging and good to see that woman are being considered for high positions. Perhaps I could do that myself one day instead of sitting home looking for free music downloads for most of the day.
